Packing & Container Loading
Export packing is part of the order: tiles are boxed face-to-face inside ISPM-15 treated wooden crates with foam protection, slabs travel on wooden pallets or in reinforced crates, and pebbles and cobbles are bagged or crated for bulk handling. Loading is supervised and photographed at every stage, so you see exactly what ships before the container is sealed.

Which Indian state is best for natural stone?
Rajasthan is India's most important natural stone state — Makrana and Udaipur marble, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Dholpur sandstone, Kota limestone — which is why most Indian stone exporters, including Indian Stone Inc, are based in Jodhpur. South Indian states such as Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana are the main source of granite varieties like Black Galaxy and Tan Brown, while slate and quartzite come largely from Himachal Pradesh. The best state depends on the stone you need — we source across all of these regions.
How is Indian natural stone exported — FOB or CIF?
Both. We quote FOB Mundra or Kandla — the main container ports for Indian stone exports, with Nhava Sheva (Mumbai) for many sailings — or CIF to your destination port. What is the minimum order quantity for a container of Indian stone?
The standard MOQ is one full container — typically a 20 ft container of about 27 tonnes, roughly 800–1,000 m² of 20 mm tiles depending on the stone and its density. Mixed containers combining compatible varieties from the same region are available. Ask us for a loading plan for your specific stone, size and thickness.
